About Lesson
Trust is easy to talk about but difficult to build.
Trust means believing that:
- others will do their part
- decisions will be fair
- mistakes will be handled honestly
Without trust, people protect themselves instead of the team.
They stop sharing ideas, effort drops, and cooperation disappears.
Trust grows slowly through consistent actions:
- keeping promises
- admitting mistakes
- following rules even when it’s inconvenient
- treating everyone with respect
Leaders cannot demand trust.
They earn it through reliability and character.
Once trust is broken, leadership becomes much harder.
That is why protecting trust is one of a leader’s most important responsibilities.
