Leaders use empathy to understand problems before solving them.
Why empathy improves leadership decisions
Empathy helps leaders:
- see hidden problems
- avoid unnecessary punishment
- create solutions people accept
- reduce resistance and resentment
Empathy does not remove authority — it strengthens it.
