About Lesson
What students often think leadership is
When students hear the word leader, many imagine:
- Presidents
- CEOs
- Class presidents
- Famous athletes or influencers
- Someone who gives orders
This idea is incomplete.
Leadership is not a position you are handed.
It is a role you earn through behavior.
What leadership actually means
At its core, leadership is:
The ability to influence others in a positive way.
That influence can be small or large:
- A smile that calms someone down
- A decision that protects fairness
- A word that gives someone courage
You don’t need permission to lead.
You need choice and responsibility.
