About Lesson
Learning Goals:
- Notice signs when someone needs space or is uncomfortable.
- Learn what to do if you accidentally cross someone’s boundary.
- Practice apologizing and improving.
🧠 Boundaries Go Both Ways
Respecting boundaries is just as important as setting them.
🔹 If someone says “I’m not okay with that” — believe them.
🔹 If someone goes quiet or pulls away — don’t chase, check in gently.
🔹 If someone says “Please stop” — don’t take it personally, just stop.
💡 Real-Life Example:
You’re joking around and teasing a friend, but they suddenly stop laughing and go quiet.
What to do:
- “Hey, I might’ve taken that too far. Are you okay?”
- “I didn’t mean to upset you — want me to stop?”
Kindness means paying attention.
Sometimes the best friends are the ones who notice small things — and change.
🧠 If You Cross a Line…
Everyone messes up. What matters is how you respond.
Three Steps to Repair:
- Acknowledge it: “I didn’t realize I hurt you.”
- Take ownership: “I should’ve asked first.”
- Offer to fix it: “I won’t do that again.”
